How Often Is This Service Necessary

Every six months or every other oil change, it is good practice to have a technician inspect your front brake pads and determine if they need to be changed. While your rear brake pads will not always need to be changed at the same time, you will find your front brake pads being changed more regularly because of the force they take when slowing down. If you are not sure when the last time was you had your front brake pads replaced, then you should listen for any strange sounds like whistling or grinding coming from your brakes. This is the first sign that the padding is getting low and it is time to have them replaced.
