WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR NISSAN LEASE ENDS

The end of your lease is approaching, now what? It's important to remember that you have options when it comes to your next steps. No matter which option you choose, at Piazza Nissan of Ardmore our goal is to make it a quick, easy, and convenient process for our Philadelphia area Nissan owners.

When your lease end approaches, Nissan will be in touch and the Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) will send letters prior to the end of your lease. In these letters you will find your options, details can be found below as well, and will include a wear-and-use guidebook.

Lease End Options

BUY OR LEASE A NEW NISSAN

If you decide to buy or lease a new Nissan, NMAC will waive up to $500 in excess wear-and-use charges and your $395 disposition fee, if applicable, on your current NMAC lease.

Piazza Nissan of Ardmore also appreciates your loyalty and will everything we can to ensure we get you the right vehicle at the right price.

     KEEP YOUR NISSAN

    If you decide to keep your current Nissan, you can purchase the vehicle at lease end for the previously agreed purchase option price (stated in your lease), regardless of condition. You will not have to pay any excess mileage, wear or use charges. You will still be responsible for sales tax, registration, other fees and incidental charges that may be found in your lease contract. Certain state and local laws may require you to pay inspection fees or other charges. The team at Piazza Nissan of Ardmore can help you figure out what those fees will be.

      RETURN YOUR NISSAN

      1.  SCHEDULE YOUR VEHICLE INSPECTION: Prior to your vehicle's lease end date, contact the Alliance Inspection Management Center (AIM) at 800.253.9026 or visit https://selfschedule.aiminspect.com/ to schedule your free vehicle inspection.
      2. DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO MAKE REPAIRS: The inspection report will specify whether or not excess use or wear charges may apply. You have the option to fix these issues prior to returning your vehicle, or paying the associated fees at lease end.
      3. RETURN YOUR VEHICLE: Contact the team at Piazza Nissan of Ardmore. We are authorized to accept all NMAC lease returns.
      4. COMPLETE A FEDERAL ODOMETER/LEASE TERMINATION STATEMENT: Federal and State law require a signed disclosure of your vehicle’s mileage. This document is also necessary to process the termination of your account, and will serve as your receipt for the return of the vehicle.
